Defendant, Zenith Electronics, Inc. (“Zenith”), is the assignee of U.S. Patent Number 4,425,647 ■ (“the ’647 patent”) which claims a system and a method of remote control of electrical devices such as television sets, video cassette recorders (“VCRs”) and cable converter boxes.
