WHAM, District Judge.

The plaintiff, a non-resident, filed his suit against the defendant insurance company, a foreign corporation, in the Circuit Court of St. Clair County, Illinois. Service was obtained upon the defendant by serving process upon the Director of the Department of Insurance of the State of Illinois. Defendant, limiting its appearance for the purpose, secured an order removing the case here. After removal defendant filed motion to quash process and return on ground of insufficiency and invalidity under the law and the facts and to dismiss the suit for lack of jurisdiction over…
