Appeal from Twenty-Third Judicial District Court, Parish of St. Mary; Thomas M. Milling, Judge. Suit by Robert L. Brown and Oscar Zenor, coreceivers of the Mrs. E. D. Burguieres Planting Company, Limited, against the North River Insurance Company of New Vork, in which the American Central Fire Insurance Company of New Jersey intervened. Judgment for plaintiffs and for intervener, and defendant appeals.

The question in this case is whether a certain fire insurance policy had been cancelled, and the policy of defendant had been substituted therefor. The receivers of the Mrs. E. D. Burguieres Planting Company, Limited, have brought this suit to recover on a policy of fire insurance issued by the North River Insurance Company for $5,000. The policy was issued to the Mrs. E. D. Burguieres Planting Company, Limited, May 5, 1913, and contained a clause making the loss thereunder payable to Wilson T. Peterman, sheriff.
