OPINION OF THE COURT

BECKER, Judge:

Today we address, among other issues, an allegation of unlawful command influence, presented in the context of a conversation between court members allegedly overheard during a trial recess, and the scope of a military judge’s discretion in ruling on a challenge for cause.
