OPINION
BISSETT, Justice.
This is a suit to recover delinquent taxes on personal property. The City of Corpus Christi, Corpus Christi Independent School District, Corpus Christi Junior College District, and Lower Nueces River Water Supply District, plaintiffs, filed suit against *882Howard F. Sudduth, defendant, for the collection of delinquent ad valorem taxes alleged to be due on personal property for the years 1964 to 1968, both inclusive.
