COFFEY, Circuit Judge.

The defendants-appellants, Peoria School District No. 150, et al., appeal the jury’s] finding that employees of the School District infringed upon Terry Knapp’s First 1 Amendment right to speak on matters of' public concern, in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The jury awarded Knapp $514,333 in compensatory damages. On cross-appeal, Knapp appeals the district court’s denial of his motion to include a claim for punitive damages. We affirm the jury’s finding that the Peoria School District infringed upon Knapp’s constitutional right to free speech and we affirm the denial of…
