A jury found the defendant, Anthony E. Patterson, guilty of conspiracy to commit murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-54a (a)1 and 53a-48 (a).2 In accordance with the jury’s verdict and the jury’s additional findings regarding the commission of a class A, B or C felony with a firearm, the trial court rendered judgment of conviction and enhanced the defendant’s sentence pursuant to General Statutes § 53-202k.3 On appeal,4 the defendant claims that the trial court improperly: (1) denied his motion for a judgment of acquittal on the ground that the evidence was…
