On February 14,1945, Ethel Skidmore, executrix of the estate of William B. Skidmore,'deceased, filed a complaint in chancery in the circuit court of Cook county against Joseph M. Johnson, alleging that letters testamentary were issued to her by the probate court of Cook county on April 5, 1944; that on or about September 1, 1939, William B.
