PUDLOWSKI, Judge.

On July 26, 1986, at approximately 3:50 a.m. a man entered a Steak-n-Shake restaurant in the City of St. Louis, held a gun to the crew-leader’s head and robbed the restaurant of $440. The robber was later identified as the defendant, Ronald Doyle Hillis. The defendant was tried before a jury and was found guilty of first degree robbery and armed criminal action. The defendant had two prior convictions for robbery and two for burglary. The trial court found the defendant to be a class X offender under Section 558.019.4(3) 1 and sentenced him to life and fifteen years…
