Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania
1Opinion of the Court
Opinion by
Judge Blatt,
The State Ethics Commission (Commission) filed a Petition for Review addressed to this Court’s original jurisdiction, seeking, inter alia, to have the individual respondents1 declared ineligible as winners in the May 21, 1985 primary elections. The reason ad*72vanced in support of this Petition was that the respondents had failed to comply with the provisions of Section 4 of the Act of October 4, 1978, P.L. 883, 65 P.S. §404 (Act), which concerns the filing of financial interest statements with the Commission by candidates for public office.
