In Amwell township, Washington county, is located a public road, leading from another, called Brush Run road to the National pike ; it is a shorter cut from the country and a number of villages into the town of Washington than other better maintained roads, and while not so generally traveled as the others, yet in the winter and spring is much used. It is known as the Mike Moninger road.
