In June, 1918, the parties entered into an agreement by which the plaintiff sold to the defendant a stock of musical instruments located in the store of the Steussy-Schulz Piano Company in the city of Manitowoc. The purchase price was $2,115, for which amount the defendant executed and delivered to the plaintiff four promissory notes, payable in four, eight, twelve, and sixteen months. After the sale a dispute arose between the parties as to whether a certain player piano was included in the stock sold, and whether the amount represented by the notes *493included the price of this piano.
