MANFORD, Judge.

This is a direct appeal from a jury conviction for assault, second degree, in violation of § 565.060, RSMo Supp.1984, and armed criminal action, in violation of § 571.015, RSMo 1978. The judgment is affirmed.

Appellant presents two points which, in summary, charge the trial court erred (1) in submitting the verdict-directing instruction on armed criminal action because said instruction was in improper form in that it permitted the jury to find appellant guilty of a crime for which he was never charged, and (2) in overruling appellant’s objection to certain comments made by the…
