Plaintiff in error, Francis Joseph Parker, hereinafter referred to as defendant, brings this writ of error seeking reversal of his conviction by a jury in the criminal court of Cook County on an indictment returned therein charging him with a crime against a child, committed on the 8th day of August, 1956, in Cook County, and contributing to the delinquency of said child, Barbara Conoboy. He was sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than two years and not more than ten years.
