Plaintiff in error, Albert Watkins, was indicted in the criminal court of Cook County for taking indecent liberties with a child under the age of fifteen years. The indictment consisted of two counts, the first charging indecent liberties, and the second, contributing to the delinquency of such child. Trial by jury was waived, and after a hearing before the court, plaintiff in error was found guilty as charged in the first count and sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than one nor more than five years.
