MANION, Circuit Judge.

In their Title VII suit filed in federal court, Steven and Karen Holman alleged that their supervisor at the Indiana Department of Transportation had sexually harassed each of them individually and on separate occasions, and because they had rejected his sexual solicitations the supervisor retaliated against each of them with *401certain deprivations. The district court held that the Holmans’ complaint of an “equal opportunity harasser” failed to state a claim of sex discrimination under Title VII. See Holman v.
