This action was brought by Plantation Pipe Line Company, a Delaware corporation, having its principal office and place of business in Atlanta, Georgia, plaintiff, against Paul Locke, a resident and citizen of Calhoun County, Alabama, defendant, upon the verified com*753plaint of plaintiff (as amended in open court prior to the hearing), seeking a preliminary injunction restraining defendant from interfering with plaintiff’s activities in constructing an additional pipeline across lands owned by the defendant.
