The accused was found guilty by a general court-martial of sodomy in violation of Article 125, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 719, and the taking of indecent liberties with • a child under sixteen years of age in violation of Article 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 50 USC § 728. He was sentenced to dishonorable discharge, partial forfeitures, confinement for eight years, and reduction to the rank of private.
