Appeal by the *551defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Braun, J.), rendered May 31, 1995, convicting him of robbery in the first degree (two counts), criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of that branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which was to suppress statements made to law enforcement officials.
