The petition and cross-petition for certification herein were granted primarily to consider whether the licensing provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Act of New Jersey are subject to the Rehabilitated Convicted Offender’s Act of New Jersey.

The Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, N. J. 8. A. 33 :1-1 et seq., provides in section 25 that “no license of any class shall be issued to any person * * * who has been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude.” The disqualification extends to any corporation of which such a person is an…
