SULLIVAN, Chief Judge:

In November and December 1988 appellant was tried at Wiesbaden, Federal Republic of Germany, by a general court-martial composed of officer members. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of larceny, in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 921. Appellant was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 2 years, total forfeitures, and reduction to Private E-l. The convening authority approved the sentence.
