ORDER AND REASONS

VANCE, District Judge.

Before the Court is defendant Kingsley Robert’s motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction, pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 12(b)(2). For the reasons set forth below, the motion is DENIED.

I. BACKGROUND

Defendant Roberts was indicted by a federal grand jury on December 11, 1997 and charged with one count of sexual abuse of a minor, 18 U.S.C. § 2243(a), and one count of abusive sexual contact with a minor, 18 U.S.C. § 2244(a).
