This action was brought by the appellee in the Marion Superior Court to recover damages for loss of services of his wife, who had been injured in attempting to alight from a car operated by appellant the Citizens Street Railroad Company by reason of the alleged starting of said car while said appellant’s conductor was standing upon the dress skirt of appellee’s wife, which skirt was still upon the step of the car after she had reached the ground. Upon change of venue the cause was tried in the Johnson Circuit Court, where a verdict was returned in favor of appellee, and judgment rendered…
