POSNER, Chief Judge.

This appeal from a judgment for the plaintiff in a diversity suit governed by Illinois law presents difficult questions concerning appellate jurisdiction, the common law of restitution, and statutes of limitations. Lawyers Title, the plaintiff, is a title insurer. Dear-born Title, now defunct and, it appears, assetless, was an escrow and closing agent and also served as Lawyers’ agent for the issuance of title insurance policies in Illinois.
