¶1 Dorothy Millican’s 19-year-old son, Daren Lafayette, was killed in a job related accident while working construction on Flowery Trail Road, located in Stevens and Pend Oreille Counties. As personal representative of her son’s estate and claiming rights as a statutory beneficiary, she brought a wrongful death action against the general contractor, N.A. Degerstrom Inc., and others. The jury returned a defense verdict from which Ms. Millican appeals.
