The defendant, Michael Marsala, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of twenty-five1 counts of harassment in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-183 (a) (3).2 The trial court sentenced the defendant to twelve consecutive three month sentences on the first twelve counts and entered an unconditional discharge as to the remaining thirteen counts for a total effective sentence of thirty-six months consecutive to a sentence the defendant was already serving.
