MEMORANDUM OPINION & ORDER

Gregory F. Van Tatenhove, United States District Judge

This case begins where all must, with a review of the Court’s power to decide the dispute presented. All agree that the prerequisites for diversity jurisdiction exist. That typically would settle the matter unless, as urged by the Plaintiff, this is a case in which the Commonwealth of Kentucky has enacted statutory language that *776voids federal diversity jurisdiction. No federal court of appeals has concluded that is possible in this context and, for the reasons set out below, neither will this district court.
