In accordance with his pleas, defendant-appellant, Benjamin F. Nevels, who was 15 years of age at the time of the crimes, was adjudged guilty of manslaughter in violation of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-305 (Reissue 1989), robbery in violation of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-324 (Reissue 1989), and the use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony in violation of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 28-1205 (Reissue 1989). He was thereafter sentenced to imprisonment for a period of from 62/3 to 20 years for manslaughter, to a period of from 4 to 8 years for robbery, to be served concurrently with the manslaughter sentence, and to…
