*205¶1 Father and son John and Tommy George attempted to sell a pickup truck to an undercover Seattle police officer for $5,500. The Georges fraudulently misrepresented the condition and history of the truck in their attempt to sell it. They were convicted of attempted first degree theft by deception. The Georges contend that the State failed to prove the market value of the truck and therefore failed to prove attempted theft in the first degree.
