Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Sullivan County (LaBuda, J.), rendered January 8, 2007, upon a verdict convicting defendant of three counts of the crime of aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate.

Defendant was convicted following a jury trial of three counts of aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate, stemming from three incidents wherein he threw liquified feces and urine at correction officers while housed in the special housing unit (hereinafter SHU) of the Sullivan Correctional Facility in Sullivan County.
