Jordan, Presiding Judge.

This is a negligence action to recover for medical expenses and loss of services of a minor daughter who was struck by the defendant’s automobile. The defendant being in default more than 15 days, moved to open the default, and in support of the motion attached an affidavit in which he stated that he had confused the service of the petition with service of pleadings in a companion case having a similar caption, and that on account of the prayer “that service of process issue requiring the said defendant to be and appear at the next term of this court” he believed that…
