The original Claimant, Marjorie Ocasek, special administrator of the estate of Michelle Margolis, filed her complaint sounding in negligence in the Court of Claims on November 13, 1986. A second amended complaint was filed on April 11, 1991, by Richard Margolis, individually, and as administrator of the estate of Michelle Margolis, deceased, Joyce Margolis, and Joshua Margolis.
