The controversy in this action, upon the only issue submitted to and passed on by the jury, was to the proper position of the boundary lines of the one hundred acre grant issued to one Lewis Clark, of which the defendant is in possession of the part claimed by the plaintiff under a grant of earlier date to John Carson and subsequent conveyances reaching to himself.
