This case involves the use of false credit information that is material to the risk of home mortgage lending transactions.

New Fed Mortgage Corporation, a mortgage originator, sued its insurer, National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA, in 2007, alleging that National Union had wrongfully denied it coverage under an errors and omissions (“E & 0”) policy.
