The Plaintiff, a double amputee and former prisoner at the Huron Valley Women’s Correctional Facility (“Huron Valley”) in Ypsilanti, Michigan, brought this lawsuit against the Michigan Department of Corrections (“MDOC”) and various MDOC-associated officers and healthcare professionals.1 The crux of her claims, premised under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, 42 U.S.C. § 12132, and Mich.
