Appellants, taxpayers of the city of Taylor, sought to enjoin the city, its city commissioners, tax assessor and collector, and city manager from levying and collecting a tax authorized hy the city charter and ordinances of said city, on the grounds that such levy was in violation of the laws and the constitution of the state.
