James Lydon, an applicant for compensation under the Workmen’s Compensation act, was on December 29, 1919, in the employ of plaintiff in error, and on that date received an injury which arose out of and in the course of his employment, by being struck on the head. Notice and demand were given within the time required by statute, and medical, surgical and hospital services were furnished by the employer.
