delivered the opinion of the court.

This action was instituted by Margaret C. Thomas; appellee, against the Illinois Power and Light Corporation, appellant, to recover damages for injuries alleged to have been sustained by the appellee as a result of a collision between two of appellant’s street cars. The cause was tried before the court and jury and a verdict was returned finding appellant guilty and assessing the damages of appellee in the sum of $12,000.
