This is a suit in equity for the cancellation of a mortgage on the ground that it was given with the purpose of defrauding creditors. The allegations of the bill are in brief as follows: that on May 15, 1924, the respondent French was indebted to one Katherine Ryan in the sum of $150 for services rendered as stenographer and that thereafter the complainant became the owner of her claim by assignment; that on December 4, 1924, respondent French was indebted to Emmeluth & Co. in the sum of $78.65 for labor performed and that thereafter the complainant became…
