¶ 1. This case originated because of an automobile accident involving Barbara L. Batt and Guineth L. Sweeney. Batt, her husband, Donald M. Batt, Sr., and Mayline Company, Inc. (collectively, "the Batts") appeal a summary judgment of the circuit court that granted Sweeney and Allstate Insurance Company's (collectively, "Allstate") motion for summary judgment, but denied a counterclaim alleging that the Batts brought the suit frivolously.
