¶ 1. Frank M. Ruszkiewicz appeals from two judgments of conviction for second-degree sexual assault pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 940.225(2)(a) (1997-98) 1 and from an order denying postconviction relief. Ruszkiewicz was convicted after a jury returned guilty verdicts on both counts. Except for the postconviction proceeding, Ruszkiewicz represented himself at all proceedings in the trial court. Postconviction counsel also represents Ruszkiewicz on this appeal.
