Joseph C. Myers, the plaintiff in the trial court, while in the employ of the Chevrolet Motor Company, in the city of Detroit, Mich., became insured under what is known as a group life insurance policy, issued by the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, defendant. His work was that of assembling the heavier parts of the chassis, such as wheels and axles, for which he was paid from $45.00 to $60.00 a week.
