This action, in which the defendants filed a joint answer, was tried in the Richland county Court. The “presiding Judge of that Court directed a verdict against the defendant TEtna Life Insurance Company and a verdict for the defendant Pacific Mills. From the judgment entered under this direction of verdict, both plaintiff and the insurance company have appealed; the two appeals being printed and heard together.
