William J. Glasgow, sometimes hereinafter called the plaintiff, filed a motion for judgment against Seth Peatross, sometimes hereinafter called the defendant, to recover the sum of $1,500, with interest, for money loaned by the plaintiff to the defendant. The defendant filed an answer of general denial. There was a trial before a jury which resulted in a verdict for the defendant. The plaintiff’s motion to set aside the verdict as contrary to the law and the evidence was overruled and judgment was entered on the verdict.
