In September 2009, Emily Walker was employed as a contract principal for the Montgomery County Board of Education (“the Board”). She was assigned to Harrison Elementary School (“Harrison”). Based on the terms of her contract and the Teacher Accountability Act (“the TAA”), Ala.Code 1975, § 16-24B-1 et seq., Walker was employed as a contract principal1 for a three-year term.
