This case came to us as a result of a collision between a taxicab owned by defendant company and an ambulance owned by plaintiffs. The collision occurred in the intersection of Division and Fulton streets in the city of Grand Rapids, on January 27, 1951, at or about the hour of 3 p.m. The ambulance was proceeding in a northerly direction on Division street. Its driver was taking a patient to the hospital, and as it approached Fulton street its siren was sounding in an oscillating manner.
