PROCEDURAL HISTORY
¶ 1. A jury in the Hinds County Circuit Court convicted Robert R. Murray of gratification of lust. Murray was sentenced to serve fifteen years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Murray filed a motion for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, a new trial. The trial court denied the motion, and Murray subsequently appealed.
