Statement of the Case

[1] Michael Norris ("Norris") appeals his convictions following a bifurcated jury trial for Level 4 felony possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, Level 6 felony resisting law enforcement, 2 and Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement. 3 Norris argues that: (1) the State committed prosecutorial misconduct during closing argument; (2) the two convictions for resisting law enforcement violate the continuous crime doctrine; and (3) the trial court improperly sentenced him.
