This is an appeal from the judgment of sentence entered in the Court of Common Pleas of York County, following appellant’s conviction on the charge of driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked. 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 1543(a). Herein; appellant contends that the lower court erred in failing to dismiss the charge since the prosecution was barred by the applicable statute of limitation, 42 Pa.C.S.A. § 5553(a). The resolution of this issue is centered upon the interplay of the 42 Pa.C.S.A. § 5553(a) and 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 1543(d). Upon review, we find that this prosecution was…
