On March 15, 1920, judgments in condemnation proceedings were obtained in favor of the city of Chicago, in trust for the use of the schools, against certain lands, including the lands involved in this proceeding, to-wit, lots 4, 45 and 46, in block 1, in John Nelson’s subdivision of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 4, township 39, north, range 13, east of the third principal meridian, and lots 27 to 34, inclusive, in the same block, all situated in the city of Chicago.
